KevREVEdd Part 23 (last part)Kevin gasped once more for breath before he fell forward. Edd leapt forward and caught him as he crashed to the ground. He lay Kevin down on the ground and pressed as hard as he could on the wound.KevREVEdd Part 23 (last part) by VictoriaMelissa
“No, no, no, no, no…” Edd was shaking his head in denial. His eyes were wide, and he was trembling. Dan was backing away, stunned by what he’d done, bloody knife in hand. He’d been wasted beyond belief for all his previous crimes. Now he was sober, and his victim lay dying, with all of supporters gone, and he was terrified. He screamed and ran from them, dropping the knife. It hit the ground with a clatter and flicked more blood on Edd’s face. He barely flinched as he tried to wrap his mind around the task at hand.
Keep on the pressure, keep Kevin awake, don’t panic. The absolute worst he could do for Kevin was panic. But it was happening anyway. He was shouting at Kevin to stay with him. Kevin was mouthing words without sound and coughing up blood.
KevREVEdd Part 22There was yelling and thundering footsteps outside the house. Dan looked up toward the noise nervously. “What?” Alan had Kevin by the hair. He looked up as well when there was another loud thud. “Relax.” He told Dan. “They got it. It’s probably just a dog or some shit.”KevREVEdd Part 22 by VictoriaMelissa
“Maybe.” Alan threw Kevin down on the ground. Kevin coughed vaguely and rolled on his side. He was barely conscious at this point and hadn’t heard the commotion outside. “I still wanna check it out, man. If it was a dog, it shouldn’t have taken them this long to chase it away or whatever.”
Alan sighed, looking annoyed. Dan ripped a new piece of duct tape and slapped it over Kevin’s mouth. Kevin barely flinched. Kevin looked up blearily as Dan exited the room after Alan. He was alone! He couldn’t miss this chance. He silently thanked whatever was going on outside as he pushed up into a sitting position. He ignored the pain tea
KevREVEdd Part 21“You sure he’s somewhere out there?” Nat said over the phone. He was at the hospital with Marie and Nazz. Edd had run the half mile to the junkyard, and was now circling the fence looking out into the branching neighborhood beyond. He wondered if he would even get very far at all before Mr. Barr caught up to him.KevREVEdd Part 21 by VictoriaMelissa
“No, It’s just a thought. If Eddy really gave them the idea for the lure, down to a distraction to separate you and Kevin, then he may also have found them a place to go. This place is familiar to Eddy.” A patrol car passed Edd on the street, and out of the corner of his eye, Edd saw a figure turn and walk a different direction at the sight of the car. “Bingo.” He hung up on Nat without explanation and followed the boy at a jog. He slowed to a walk as he got close. These guys never worked alone, he knew that now, and he would not be caught off guard. He followed the boy at least four blocks before he turned and walked into
